Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the compostaway.co.nz website (the “Service”) operated by Solve Group Limited (“us”, “we”, or “our”) – NZBN9429041848944.
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
If you are registering for the Service on behalf of another person, a corporate entity or an organization, then you agree to these Terms on behalf of that person, corporate entity or organization and its affiliates and you represent that you have the authority to do so.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
Box Delivery
Upon receipt of an order or re-order for boxes, via our website or free call number 0508 123AWAY (0508 1232929), we will dispatch a set of four Compostaway boxes to the New Zealand address location advised by the customer. This must be a street address suitable for deliveries and pick up by Compostaway’s courier service.
New boxes will be dispatched to the customer promptly, generally within 3 working days. The boxes will be sent in ‘flatpack’ form and will require simple assembly.
Box Collection
To order a box collection, simply scan the QR code on the box (which will take you to your Compostaway account on our website), or call our free call number, and we will send out a courier to collect the full, or partially full, box.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the Compostaway box is suitable for courier pick up. It must:
- Only contain compostable packaging such as compostable cups, lids, wooden stirrers and tea bags.
- Be firmly closed and kept in an upright position, as per our instructions on the box.
- Not be left out in the rain or be leaking any fluids. (You agree to notify us if the box is unsuitable for collection.)
- Not exceed 5 kilograms in gross weight.
Compostaway will endeavor to deliver and pick up boxes in a timely manner but will not be liable for any failure or delays in box deliveries or collections. Late delivery or collection of boxes will not entitle the customer to any cancellation of order, refunds or discounts.
Pricing
All pricing shown on the Compostaway website or advised to customers is GST exclusive. We reserve the right to vary our pricing at any time, for any reason.
Payments
All single address location orders must be placed and paid for using our website, compostaway.co.nz. Payment can be made using a valid credit or debit card.
All Corporate Account holders with multiple address locations must register on our website. Approved account holders will be invoiced monthly, with payment due on or before the 20th of the month following.
Force majeure
In the event of any circumstances outside the reasonable control of Compostaway (including but not limited to any climatic or seismic activity, government regulation, industrial dispute or shortage of materials) to properly perform its obligations under this contract, the service may be suspended, until Compostaway can properly perform its obligations.

Compostaway reserves the right to update and change these terms and conditions at any time.
